White Pine’s lottery will be drawn on April 3rd for the 2026/2027 school year. Although
results aren’t livestreamed, the lottery will be broadcast over Zoom (it is not necessary for
applicants to view the lottery livestream). Applicants interested in viewing will receive a link the
day prior to the drawing. Applicants can expect to receive notification regarding lottery
results and next steps the same day as the drawing.
Lottery Process
White Pine follows Idaho Code 33-5205 and Idaho State Board of Education 08.02.04-Rules
Governing Public Charter Schools.
The priority for awarding spots through the White Pine lottery are as follows:
1. Children of Founders
2. Children of Full-Time Employees
3. Siblings of Enrolled Students
4. Open to the General Public
Congratulations!
Applicants that secure placement through the lottery will receive an email from PowerSchool
Enrollment (be sure to check spam/junk email folders). Applicants have 24 hours to accept their
placement. After 24 hours, applicants will be removed from the lottery list.
Applicants accepting a placement within the allotted 24 hours will receive an email containing a
link with directions to complete registration. Completing registration is an important point of
commitment and should be finished within 48 hours of receiving the link - failing to do so
surrenders the spot to the next applicant on the waitlist. If the accepted sibling withdraws
from enrollment, the status changed sibling will be moved to the original spot on the waitlist.
Waitlist
Applicants not selected for placement will be placed on a waitlist by grade and will receive a link
through email notifying the position on the waitlist. The link in the email is a live link in order to
stay informed about position on the waitlist.
White Pine never discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender,
